These Terms & Conditions outline the basis upon which ACS Same Day provides dedicated courier, urgent transport and UK haulage services.
They include information relating to bookings, collection and delivery requirements, cancellation charges, liability limitations and customer responsibilities.
Terms & Conditions of Carriage
ACS Same Day operates as part of Advanced Cargo Systems Ltd and provides dedicated same day courier and haulage services across the UK.
All services are provided subject to vehicle availability, operational limitations, customer instructions and applicable industry trading conditions.
1. Company Information
ACS Same Day is a trading style of Advanced Cargo Systems Ltd and forms part of ACS Logistics Group.
2. Courier & Haulage Services
Services may include same day courier transport, dedicated vehicle movements, urgent collections, direct deliveries, multi-drop transport and UK haulage support.
3. Booking & Shipment Information
Customers are responsible for ensuring all collection details, delivery details, contact information, goods descriptions, dimensions, weights and vehicle requirements supplied are accurate.
4. Collection & Delivery Access
Customers must ensure suitable access is available for the booked vehicle and that goods are ready for collection at the agreed time.
5. Waiting Time
Waiting time may apply where a driver is delayed at collection, delivery or any additional stop beyond the agreed free waiting period.
6. Cancellation Charges
Cancellation charges may apply once a booking has been accepted. Less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged up to 50%, driver en route to collection up to 75%, and driver on site at collection up to 100% of the agreed booking charge.
7. Restricted Goods
Dangerous goods, temperature-controlled freight, fragile goods, high-value goods or restricted items must be declared before quotation or booking and remain subject to acceptance.
8. Transit Times & Delivery
Collection and delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to traffic, weather, road closures, access restrictions, vehicle availability or operational disruption.
9. Liability Limitations
Liability for loss, delay or damage is limited in accordance with applicable carrier terms, subcontractor terms, industry trading conditions and relevant law.
10. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be confirmed at quotation or booking stage. Online bookings may require payment before the service is arranged unless approved credit account terms apply.
BIFA Standard Trading Conditions
ACS Same Day services are provided subject to the applicable BIFA Standard Trading Conditions where relevant.
