Your goods travel on a vehicle allocated to your consignment, directly between the agreed stops. Our team confirms the practical arrangements before you book and remains your point of contact through collection and delivery.

Yes, subject to availability and a suitable transport plan. Tell ACS when the goods will be ready and the required arrival time. We can arrange collection the afternoon or evening before, with the route, loading time and access at both addresses agreed before booking.
Can you collect and deliver during the night?
Yes, collections and deliveries during the evening or night can be arranged, subject to suitable vehicle availability and access at both sites. Provide the ready time, delivery deadline and contact details for each location. Call ACS before booking urgent out-of-hours transport; the arrangements must be confirmed by our team.
Can you deliver pallets and larger loads overnight?
Yes, subject to vehicle suitability and availability. ACS arranges dedicated vans and HGVs for palletised and larger commercial loads. Include the pallets and packaging in the dimensions and total weight, and explain the loading and unloading arrangements.
Can I book an overnight courier online?
Speak to ACS before booking overnight transport so availability, timing and site arrangements can be confirmed. Call before booking for collection within 90 minutes, a fixed delivery deadline or urgent out-of-hours transport. The standard public van booking flow requires at least 90 minutes’ notice.
Who loads and unloads the goods?
The sender and receiver are responsible for loading and unloading unless other arrangements have been agreed with ACS. Tell us about loading equipment, site access and any tail-lift requirement before booking. Tail-lift suitability depends on the vehicle, load and site.
Can I view updates and proof of delivery?
ACS remains your point of contact for delivery updates. Approved company users can view their bookings and the latest recorded shipment updates in the customer portal, and download proof of delivery once released. You do not need a portal account to enquire about overnight transport.
